Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion play an important role in the liturgical and pastoral life of Ascension Catholic Church by assisting the priest and deacon in distributing the Body and Blood of Christ during Mass. Some ministers may also bring Holy Communion to parishioners who are homebound, hospitalized, or living in care facilities, helping them remain connected to the Eucharist and the parish community. Through their reverence, humility, and faithful service, these ministers bear witness to the sacredness of the Eucharist and to Christ’s loving presence among his people.
