The Art & Environment Ministry plays an important role in enhancing the beauty and prayerfulness of Ascension Catholic Church throughout the liturgical year. Its members prepare and decorate the church in harmony with the seasons and celebrations of the Church, using flowers, plants, fabrics, banners, and other visual elements to complement the sacred liturgy. Through thoughtful planning and careful attention to the worship space, the committee helps create an environment that draws the congregation more deeply into prayer and reflects the meaning of Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and Ordinary Time. This ministry offers parishioners an opportunity to share their creativity and talents in service to God and the parish community.
