Altar servers play an important role in the liturgical life of Ascension Catholic Church by assisting the priest and deacon during Mass and other sacred celebrations. Through responsibilities such as carrying the cross and candles, preparing the altar, holding the Roman Missal, and helping with incense, they contribute to the reverence, dignity, and prayerful order of the liturgy. Their ministry is both a service to the parish community and an opportunity to grow in faith, responsibility, and understanding of the Mass. By serving attentively and reverently, altar servers help lead the entire congregation into a deeper spirit of worship.
