Parish Missions
Parish Missions are parish-wide programs that provide a time for the whole parish to come together to reflect upon God’s word in a particular way in order to reinvigorate the faith of the parish and to bring about a deeper communion with God and one another. They are most often, but not always held during penitential seasons (Advent & Lent), and include preaching, scripture, reflection, music and congregational involvement.
Parish-Wide Evangelization Programs
Parish-wide Evangelization Programs are designed to equip the faithful to become true disciples of Jesus and to aid them in the Divine Commission of Christ to “Make Disciples of All Nations”. We are individually called, by name, by Christ in Confirmation to become workers in his vineyard, to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to all the world; each one of us in accord to our current place and state in life. Evangelization programs train us to harness all that the Holy Spirit wishes to bestow upon us to gain the confidence and knowledge to live and speak the Gospel in all that we do and say. Parish-wide Evangelization Programs also help to strengthen the bonds of community in order to help heal, invigorate and grow our parish.
Evangelization Team
Evangelization Team members help to plan, organize and facilitate educational and discipleship opportunities and events throughout the parish. Members do NOT need to be experts on the Bible, or the Faith, but be willing to be taught and led by the Holy Spirit to participate in His work of Evangelization for the benefit of the entire world.
